Back from France

As many of you who read this blog know, we just got back from our trip to France two weeks ago. It was an amazing experience, and we are so thankful to have had the oppurtunity to be a part of the trip. We couldn't have done it without the help of all the amazing people who supported us, both financially and with prayer. Also, CarrieAnn's parents in particular deserve thanks for taking on the daunting task of caring for our two little boys for almost 4 weeks while we were away. It was a huge help and we couldn't have gone to France without what they did, or the wonderful help that all of our other friends and family gave in supporting us. Thanks again everyone! :)

For the next couple weeks I'll try and post some new pictures of the camp every couple of days, and describe in a little more detail what we did each day. Today I'm just going to post a few basic pictures around the area, so you can get an idea of what the camp looks like.
Located in Southeast France, Camp des Cimes (The Camp of the Peaks) is located in the French Alps, near the town of Bourg D' Oisans. The town is host to a key stage of the Tour De France, and was a wonderful place to visit when we were given time off.

Right here is a nice little graphic showing the camp, which will hopefully help you an idea of what the camp looks like when combined with our pictures.

Without further ado...

The Camp!

Le Grand Chalet - Where we held the big meetings, ate meals, and where most of the American counselors and the music team (us) lived for two weeks

La Grange - One of the Dorms for the kids

The Basketball Court, where many a fast-paced game of elimination was played, Troy managed to win once, the best I ever did was 4th

Fresh mountain water on tap, all day every day! :)

Until next time, farwell from Camp des Cimes!

Zoo Today

So we went to the zoo today. Sadly my camra's battries died after the first picture we took... We bought a season's pass though with some of the Boy's birthday money so we are able to go back about as many times as we want to this year.

Benjamin really liked the fish and sharks. Joshua though the dolphins were cool. He kept smiling at them and waving.

First Post

So I think I have finally made this thing work. We wanted to make a family blog so that we can both post on here and share things from both of our perspectives... So from time to time you will see a posting from Me or one From Will... It will be good. And Hopefully you will see picture too.
:-)

Have a grand day!
